Acceptance of conditions & liability notice
Please take a moment to carefully read the following points regarding your participation in the classes and services offered by Ô Löft.
1. Class participation and awareness of risks
I am taking part in classes or services during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga or Pilates and health. I acknowledge that yoga or Pilates requires physical effort that can be demanding and may cause physical injury. I am fully aware of the risks and dangers involved.
2. Medical consultation and health conditions
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician before, and regarding, my participation in any fitness program, including yoga or Pilates. I declare that no medical condition prevents me from taking part in these activities.
3. Personal responsibility during classes
If I am cleared to take part in yoga or Pilates classes, I agree to assume full responsibility for all risks, injuries or damages — known or unknown — that I may incur as a result of my participation, whether online or in a physical space with an instructor.
4. Waiver of all claims
By being cleared to take part in yoga or Pilates classes, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim against the instructor, the owner or tenant of the building, or the online program, for any injury or damage I may suffer resulting from my participation in classes or workshops.
I have read, understood and accept the terms above. I acknowledge that my electronic acceptance constitutes a full and unconditional release of all liability.
Cancellation policy
Before the session or an event starts
You may cancel your registration at any time before the session begins.
A full refund will be issued, free of charge, in accordance with Québec's Consumer Protection Act.
As a courtesy, we thank you for cancelling at least 48 hours in advance so that we can offer the spot to someone else.
After the session has started
You may cancel your registration during the session. In that case:
- We will charge for the classes already attended;
- Management fees will apply: either 10% of the value of the remaining classes or $50 (whichever is lower).
Missing a class (in-session or drop-in)
Unable to attend a class?
Please let us know at least 4 hours in advance so that someone else can take the spot.
An absence not reported within this window is considered attendance. No refund or make-up is possible, except in exceptional situations (illness with a medical note, emergencies).
Reporting an absence or requesting a make-up
You can report an absence and request a make-up through your account on our website.
If the class you are registered for is cancelled (e.g. storm, statutory holiday, instructor absence), you must report an absence (at least 4 hours in advance if possible) and then request a make-up according to the procedure in place.
To be able to make up a class in another group, subject to availability and within the same session, the conditions stated under "Missing a class" must be met.
